Can Bentley Be Recycled?


Aside from... British automaker Bentley has made a daring innovative move by becoming the first carmaker in the luxury category that bestows its environmental strategy with a guarantee that the materials utilized in all of its existing Continental models are 85 percent recyclable or 95 percent recoverable. "The first serial model, the Continental Supersports, which was already introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, uses either gasoline or ethanol, a fuel that has been known to reduce emissions of CO2. As the trailblazer in the luxury segment, the carmaker is opening the way for a customer-based shift toward alternative fuels. The company is intent on putting all their models on flex fuel technology by 2012. In combination with this will be a new powertrain that is known to reduce fuel consumption by an amazing 40 percent. By 2012, Bentley fleet will come with reduced CO2 emissions of 15 percent."
